Tuesday, May 6 at 7:00 pm - Small Ensemble Concert in the Langley Auditorium
This concert features many of our student-run chamber groups, as well as our percussion ensembles and jazz bands.

Thursday, May 22 at 7:00 pm - Spring Concert in the Langley Auditorium 
Join us for the final band concert of the year! We ask all families to bring a nut-free dessert to share for the post-concert reception. We need volunteers during the reception and for clean-up afterwards. Send me an email if you can help with the concert reception.

 

Tuesday, May 27 at 6:30 pm - Band Banquet in Langley Hall & Auditorium 

The Langley Band Association cordially invites all band & color guard members and up to 2 guests to join us for a celebratory dinner in honor of our fantastic students, especially our graduating seniors. Food will be catered by District Taco. Due to increasing costs, this year we are asking guests to contribute $10/person to offset the cost of the banquet. Langley band students eat free!  Please RSVP by Friday, May 16th (only one response per family) so we can be sure we order enough food. 
 

3/1/2025 update: Our annual Bands on the Run 5K will be on 4/6/2025. Sponsor packet is available.

   Symphonic Band: 3:45-4:30 rehearsal; 6:30 call

   Wind Ensemble: 5:15 call; 5:30-6:15 rehearsal

   Wind Symphony: 6:00 call, 6:15-6:45 rehearsal

10/27/2024 update: Congratulations to the Marching Saxons for their performance at Marching Band Assessment yesterday! The band earned a rating of “Superior,” the highest rating available, for the sixth year in a row – and they got it from EVERY judge.

​

9/23/2024 update: Schedules for Herndon 9/28 and Annapolis 10/5 are out. Please consider signing up for volunteers for 9/28 Band Competition and 10/4 Home Football Game

9/6/2024 update: Saturday, 9/7/2024 is Tag Day! Be on the lookout for kids in your neighborhood throughout the day on Saturday.

8/2/2024 update: The Langley Band spirit wear store is open and will remain open until noon on Friday, August 23. Orders will be distributed to students at a marching band rehearsal in mid-September. Be sure to order right away as no late orders will be accepted. We do not order extra merchandise, so if you think you might want something, buy it now. A portion of every spirit wear purchase goes to Langley Band. Thank you for your support!
