10/19/2026 update: Chipotle LHS Bands Fundraiser - Tuesday, October 20 @ 5pm-9pm. Foil your dinner plans and stop by Chipotle at 6707 Old Dominion Dr in McLean for our fundraiser on Tuesday, October 20 from 5:00pm - 9:00pm. We're raising money to support Langley High School Band Association, so just bring in the attached flyer or mention the LHS Band fundraiser at checkout and they'll donate 25% of the proceeds to the cause! For orders in the Chipotle app or website, once you’re ready to place your order, input the Langley Bands online fundraiser code FFLTX3L in the “Enter a Promo Code” section. Patriot HS Assessment- Saturday, 10/24

This is our most important performance of the season. It is the marching band equivalent to an SOL. Also referred to as VBODA assessment, which stands for Virginia Band and Orchestra Director's Association. This takes place this coming Saturday, October 24 at Patriot High School. We need parent volunteers to help at both LHS (before and after the competition) and at Patriot HS. Please sign up at this link: Patriot HS Assessment Volunteers

 

Home Football Game - Friday, 10/30

The next home football game halftime performance is on October 30!  We still have some volunteer opportunities available. 10/18/2026 update:  The fall concert is Oct 29th at 7pm, less than two weeks away! Here are the rehearsal and call-times for each ensemble:

Symphonic Band: 5:55 call for rehearsal and concert (can change into concert wear after rehearsal)

Wind Ensemble: 3:15-4:30 rehearsal on Oct 28th; 6:26 call for concert *in concert attire*

Wind Symphony: 6:30-8:30 rehearsal on Oct 28th; 6:26 call for concert *in concert attire*

9/18/2026 update: LHS Band Magnets Are Here! Show off your Saxon pride while you drive around town and support the Langley High School Band at the same time! Magnets are $5 and can be purchased at the following link: LHS Band Magnet. Last day to purchase is 10/9/2026.

8/26/2026 update: TAG DAY has moved dates!! Tag Day is now on OCT 3rd.

8/21/2026 update: LHS Band Spirit Wear: The LHS Band Spirit Wear store is now open!  Deadline for orders is Monday, August 31st at 1pm. Use this link to order: Band Spirit Wear.  Items will be delivered and distributed to students at LHS around September 22. Order for your student or yourselves - the fleece jackets come in handy at chilly football games later this Fall! A small portion of the proceeds go to the LHSBA. This is the only opportunity during the year to purchase band spirit wear!
