BANDS ON THE RUN 5K
The Bands on the Run, benefitting the band programs of Langley High School and Cooper Middle School, is coming up! Our 7th Bands on the Run 5K is Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 8 am.
Friends, neighbors and families of Langley, Cooper and the elementary schools of the Langley pyramid are especially invited, along with all area runners. Run the course like a pro or walk it with a friend! (Leave Fido at home, though. Due to FCPS policy, pets are not allowed on school grounds.)

Entry fee is listed for ages 18 & under first, followed by the fee for those over 18:

Thru 4/1: $40/$45

4/2 - 4/26: $45/$55

EVENT DAY SCHEDULE

7:15 am - Race-day registration & packet pick-up

8:00 am - Ready, set, go!
The course is a lovely "out and back" route through the tree-lined residential neighborhood located adjacent to and west of Langley High School. Come run or walk with us!
After the race, stay and enjoy live DJ music, food and refreshments and visit our sponsor booths.

The Band Room is located immediately inside LHS Door 14 -- enter the school parking lot and follow the signs to the nearest door, which is Door 14.

Race timing/scoring is from Potomac River Running/PR Races.

Parking is toward the back of the LHS parking lot (follow signs on race day).
