The success and operation of the Langley High School band program relies on family and community support! Due to covid-19 we are unable to carry out Tag Day this fall, which is our normal annual fundraiser that provides most of the additional funds the Mighty Saxon band program needs.

Our goal with the Battle of the Bands is to raise $30,000 in 2 weeks!

If each family gives $100 per band member, we will approach our goal.

Please include your family and friends to help us meet our goal!

 

We have three major needs:

​

• Sectionals  -- this rehearsal time with professional musicians is the largest additional factor aiding students' musical development

​

• Instruments -- to meet the needs of our growing program there are key instruments we need to acquire, such as marimbas and contra bass clarinets

​

• Marching band uniforms -- the success of the band program means we need to outfit more Mighty Saxons!
